Where projects start

Three ways in. Same standards either way

Most work arrives in one of these shapes. Which one you are in changes the first conversation, not the quality of what gets built.

  • A new site, from scratch

No site yet, or one so far past its useful life that replacing it is cheaper than repairing it.

    • Structure and content model
    • Design system and build
    • Search setup before launch
  • A rescue

A site that already exists and is slow, fragile, impossible to edit, or invisible in search.

    • Audit of what is actually there
    • Fix the causes, not the symptoms
    • Keep what already earns its keep
  • Ongoing work

A live site that needs someone senior to keep improving it rather than leaving it to drift.

    • SEO and content structure
    • Performance and accessibility
    • Changes as the business changes

How the work runs

Boring commitments that turn out to matter

  • Senior from first call to launch

The people who scope the work are the people who build it. Nothing is translated through an account layer or handed to someone junior once the contract is signed.

  • HTML and CSS before JavaScript

Every interaction starts as a question of whether the platform already does it. Script is added when it earns its place, not by default, and never for something a link or a form already solves.

  • Accessibility is part of the build

Keyboard paths, focus states, contrast, and semantics are decided while the markup is written. Retrofitting them afterwards costs more and produces worse results.

  • Yours to own and to leave

Standard tooling, readable code, and documented decisions. No proprietary page builder and no lock-in that makes moving the site elsewhere someone else’s permission to give.

Process

One conversation. Four phases. No surprises

  1. Discovery

What the site has to achieve, who it is for, and what already exists. Ends with an agreed scope and a short list of the things most likely to go wrong.

  2. Design

Structure and interface decided against real content, not placeholder text. Delivered as a system of tokens and components rather than a set of flat mockups.

  3. Build

Semantic markup, typed code, and performance budgets applied while building. Accessibility and SEO structure are part of this step, not a pass afterwards.

  4. Launch and after

Redirects, analytics, and search console set up before going live. Then handover: how to edit it, how it is deployed, and what to watch.

Industries

Two sectors where the constraints are specific

The work is not limited to these. They are listed because their technical problems repeat, and knowing them in advance saves a discovery cycle.

Questions

Answers before you have to ask

What kind of projects do you take on?

Marketing sites, WordPress and WooCommerce builds, and the design and SEO work around them. The common thread is that the quality of the build matters, because someone has to maintain it, extend it and find it in search.

Do you work on existing sites, or only new builds?

Both. An existing site is often the better starting point, because it already tells you which parts earn their keep. That work begins with an audit, so the scope rests on what is really there instead of on guesswork.

Will I be able to edit the site myself?

We decide that during discovery, because it changes the build. A WordPress or WooCommerce site gets set up so your team can edit content without touching layout or breaking pages. A static site can be wired to a CMS too, as long as editing is a real need and not a hypothetical one.

Is SEO a separate engagement?

It can be. Technical SEO covers crawlability, structured data, metadata, internal linking and performance, and all of that is part of any build here. It is not an upsell. Ongoing keyword, content and reporting work gets scoped separately, because it never really finishes.

How does a project start?

A conversation about what the site has to do and what already exists, then a written scope. Nothing gets built before that scope is in front of you and you have agreed to it.

Does it matter that you are not local to me?

The studio is based in Marrakech and works with clients remotely. Time zone matters less than who you are talking to. You get the people doing the work, so answers never have to travel through anyone else.
